Schiphol Amsterdam Airport

Hoefnagels has a long-term relationship with Schiphol Airport. Over the years, various fire-resistant and burglary-resistant facilities have been installed. At the end of 2014, Hoefnagels took care of the Fire and Security separation within the new departure lounges.

The rolling doors and escape doors fitted by Hoefnagels not only serve as fire-resistant closures but also as a security separation. The rolling doors provide a physical separation between passengers who have passed through security screening and passengers who have not yet passed through security screening. Depending on how busy it is at Schiphol Airport, the doors will be opened partially or completely.

A total of 12 fire-resistant rolling doors, 3 security barriers and 1 fire-resistant security barrier were supplied.
