Our own research and development department has developed a sliding door that combines fire-resistance, burglary-resistance and escape safety. The Firelock BSL60P fire-resistant sliding door resists vandalism and burglary attempts and is available in burglary-resistance classes 3 and 4. In addition, the door can withstand temperatures in excess of 900˚C for 60 minutes. Would you like to fit the sliding door in your escape route? Then we can provide it with an escape door with panic functionality.
Risk profile
Fire-resistant and burglary-resistant sliding doors are ideal for museums, jewellers, banks and other institutions with a high risk profile, where not only security against theft is important, but where high fire-resistant requirements also apply. That's why we also use the Firelock BSL60P often in museums and banks, for example.
Fire resistance standards
The Firelock BSL60P fire-resistant and burglary-resistant sliding door with escape door has been tested by Stichting Kwaliteit Gevelbouw (SKG). Our sliding door complies with the Dutch NEN 5096:2012 and European EN 1627:2011 standard. And in terms of fire resistance, the door has been tested in accordance with NEN 6069 and the Buildings Decree by Effectis/TNO.
