Fire safety involves technology at least as much as it does knowledge of what is allowed and what must be done. Hans van Boekel, one of our project engineers, is a man who masters both parts. Since this week, he can call himself a Fire Prevention Expert 1.

His diploma from the Brandpreventie Academy (Fire Prevention Academy) is an enrichment for Hoefnagels and for all customers who make use of his talents. Now he can and may test building plans for fire safety. However, the honorary title he is now allowed to wear did not come by itself. Half a year of continuous studying, also in his own time. ''It wasn't easy, but it was fun to do", Hans looks back with satisfaction. The colleagues are also delighted, even if only for the treat that Hans himself brought around.
