As a 140-year-old family business, at Hoefnagels Fire Safety, we think about the future; we believe it is important to contribute to a better environment. That is why we started the ISO 14001 certification process in 2023.

Why do we consider ISO 14001 important for our customers, our environment, and ourselves?

• By conducting environmentally conscious business, we ensure that our ecological footprint becomes smaller.
• When improving our work processes, we make more (environmentally) conscious choices.
• Compliance: We guarantee our customers that we adhere to environmental standards and regulations.
• It aligns with the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which is relevant for the entire construction chain.

Together with our colleagues, we are actively exploring ways to improve. Therefore, we do not see obtaining the ISO 14001 certificate as an endpoint but as a very beautiful beginning.
